| Charles Scalfani is like no other screenwriter in Hollywood. He works and lives by his own rules. One rule Charles has is the Rule of Success. Success is not monetary. When it comes to Charles' screenplays, his rule is 'if lots of people enjoy my writing, then that's success.' His second rule is, The Hollywood way isn't the only way. It's still very hard getting your movie made in Hollywood, and that's okay for Charles. He knows with today's technology, producing your own project is an option. Living by these kind of rules is what allows Charles to be creative. it allows him to keep control of his work, and allows him to work on his time-line. His latest project is about ready to prove that his rules work. He has just turned one of his scripts into a movie. Charles is co-producer of Solitary the movie. He co-wrote the script with the Director, Greg Derochie. With the idea of writing a small movie with a big story, Solitary came to life. The movie was produced by Greg Derochie's production company Formation Films and the story behind the making of this movie is unbelievable.
